Retroactivity Started November 1, 2026

Heat pumps installed on or after November 1, 2026 are eligible. You do not need to wait for the portal to open — install now and apply when the portal launches in early 2027.

No Energy Audit Required

Unlike some provincial programs, the National Heat Pump Rebate does not require a home energy audit before or after installation. This makes the process significantly simpler.

Both emergency and planned installations qualify. Your existing heating system does not need to be removed or decommissioned to receive the rebate.

Eligible Product List (AHRI Number)

The heat pump must appear on the federal eligible product list, identified by its AHRI certification number. CCS installs Mitsubishi Electric systems — we will confirm AHRI eligibility at the time of your quote.

Licensed Contractor Required

Installation must be completed by a licensed HVAC contractor. CCS Heating & Cooling is fully licensed and registered — your installation will meet all program requirements.
